A Taste From My Childhood

I live in Minnesota, But grew up in Clovis as a child. I remember going to the El Monterrey Restaurant when I was young. Delicious, just as I remember!

We grew up by Clovis, New Mexico, and it was always a family treat to be able to eat at the El Monterey restaurant. I can still picture the masks on the wall with the different colored lights behind them and the dancing ladies painted on each corner of the tables. Grew up in that restaurant starting as a toddler with their scrambled eggs and the last thing I had before they closed was their delicious fluffy battered chili relleno. This restaurant had the best food and nothing will ever compare to it. Thank you so much for continuing to sell their enchilada sauce mix. It is delicious.
